Summary/Abstract: The objective of the assignment of contract is to cede a contractual position, by substituting the assignor for the assignee in all the legal relations born from a contract, i.e. both in those derived or not from an obligation. The replacement of the assignor with the assignee is done through a single, global legal operation, which requires, for its validity, the consent of all three subjects involved: the assigned party, the assignor and the assignee. The assignment of contract has a general applicability, regardless of the nature of the contract.
