Summary/Abstract: The fundamental edition of «A Dictionary of the Ukrainian language in the 16th – first half of the 17th century» is based on numerous sources – monuments of the Ukrainian language from the 16th and 17th centuries. Different genres which, according to researchers, originated in many territories where the Ukrainian language was spoken. Arguably, this historical dictionary of the Ukrainian language is a reliable source of information about the development of Ukrainian historical dialectology. The article offers an analysis of one of the monuments of the religious genre: the Uchytelne Yevanheliye of the 16th century, created on the territory of the Boykos, the main differential features preserved in an ancient gospel text and testify to its folk orrigin, specifically the Boyko dialects. Parallels are drawn with dialect records from the territory of the Boykos, made by the author of this study in the 1990s-2000s, on the basis of which «Mokryany. Mother’s village dialect. Dictionary» (Lviv 2021) was compiled.It can be be refrred to as «a dictionary of one village», «a woman’s dictionary», «a dictionary of one family
