Summary/Abstract: Cooperative learning is not a very popular learning method in Bulgaria. This article focuses on one of the aspects of cooperative learning – the potential to increase group cohesion in the classrooms. This characteristic of the method is very important to different areas of psychology and pedagogy as possible means to managing the classroom and preventing aggression. The article presents the collected and analyzed data from a two-year longitudinal research of the connection between cooperative learning and group cohesion in one classroom.
