Summary/Abstract: A risk is a word that we come around in everyday life so we could say it influences on our life style. Although many authors are of the opinion that risk contribute not only with some character traits but some of risk behaviours it was interesting to explore the connection between young unemployed persons and their tendency to risk. The results are disturbing. The survey shows that young unemployed people have higher tendency to risk then young employees; young unemployed people are more often ready to invest their money to gain a quick profit without any work to do and, because of the fact that most of young people, in general, do not have any conditions for independency, they still live with their parents. Also young people rarely make decisions for starting their own families because of bad and uncertain finances. However only 25% of all young people have children.
