Summary/Abstract: As a result of the epidemic threat related to the spread of the COVID-19 infectious disease, many solutions have been introduced to ensure social distance. In the area of the labor market, remote work has become such a solution. The aim of the article is to analyze the duration of remote work and to examine the relationship between selected variables and survival time. The Kaplan-Meier estimator and the Cox regression model were used in the study. The data comes from a survey conducted by the authors in the 2021. The analysis provided information on the characteristics of groups at greater risk of quitting remote work and returning to stationary work. Variables such as the type of organization, gender and age can, according to conducted research, be perceived as determinants of the time of remote work.
