Summary/Abstract: The purpose of the article is to describe the processes of onboarding employees in Poland into professional responsibilities and organizational culture in the conditions of remote working. For the article, an own study was conducted using individual in-depth interviews on a group of line managers and Human Resources staff of a medium-sized Polish company. Based on collected data and relying on the concepts of institutional change and organizational culture, it was concluded that the analyzed organization developed effective processes of professional onboarding, striving to maintain norms of its organizational culture. At the same time, it did not find new ways of conducting social onboarding, thus the realization of rituals and values related to the character of the organization was disturbed.
