Summary/Abstract: A first set of documents is presented to illustrate the state of spirit characteristic during the authoritarian regime instituted by Carol II in February 1938. Some of the documents are taken from the foreign press. Some others are notes of the Special Information Service reporting on various opposition attitudes against the persecutions exerted by the regime of Carol II.
