Summary/Abstract: Introduction: The Alcohol Dependence Scale (ADS) is used to identify the overuse and dependence on alcohol taking into account the assessment of the severity of currently existing alcohol problems. So far, there has been no cultural adaptation of the ADS scale carried out in Poland. The ADS scale can be a useful tool in the social rehabilitation process and in modifying drinking patterns in general.
