Summary/Abstract: The communist regime announced in the spring of 1962 that the collectivization was finalized. This seemed to be the ending of an implacable process to transform agriculture the socialist way. The forced collectivization in the late 50s had as a result tens of thousands of arrested and deported persons, but this did not manage to intimidate the Romanian peasants.
