Summary/Abstract: This new body, which was established immediately after the armistice convention was signed in September 1944, was to become (through its Soviet representative) a factor that interfered with the powers of the Romanian authorities. It systematically overstepped the powers vested in it through the provisions of the Armistice Convention. The Allied Control Commission established in Romania its own monitor system.
