Summary/Abstract: The moment when the Red Army troops entered the territory of Romania meant the beginning of many abuses committed by Soviet officers and soldiers. The protests of the Romanian government were unanswered, although the total number of incidents provoked by Soviets from September 1, 1944 to January 31, 1945 was over 2,500.
