Summary/Abstract: The article examines the legal framework for the rights preservation of civil servant,elected as Member of Parliament, minister, mayor or appointed as regional governor or elected or appointed as a single-person authority, an alternate thereof or a member of collegial authority. Analysis of §7, (1) provision from transitional and final provisions of the Civil servant Act has been made and the problems in connection with its application have been identified. Recommendations for the improvement of the provision have been addressed.
