Summary/Abstract: The forms of resistance used by Bessarabian voters during the election campaigns of 1946-1950 proved both the attitude of many Bessarabians as far as the Soviet electoral system was concerned and their attitude concerning the totalitarian system as a whole, including the socio-economic policy promoted by the Soviet authorities in Bessarabia.
