Summary/Abstract: Self-awareness gives man the possibility of creating his own meaning, thus, each person can conceive his own alphabet of meanings, and through the plastic script he can adapt it, which ends up representing a special means of illustrating his spiritual potential. Many things can be said about motifs and symbols in art, they mainly represent the connection of the creator and his work with his personal reality, thus giving the viewer the chance to decode the mystery or the message that the artist wanted to convey. The decorative motifs, plastic signs and symbols are different depending on the time period, the geographical area and the specific culture, them being unique and representative, and for their decoding the historical research is important and necessary. Speaking of uniqueness in all aspects on a large scale, we can similarly, with all conviction, refer to the specific peculiarity of the human being who is equally differentiated by his own imprint from his peers. We end up expressing the same opinion in the artistic community too, where every creator is original through the uniqueness of his personal imprint.
