Summary/Abstract: The purpose of this paper is to present the functioning of specific task forces located in thestructures of the State Fire Service. The development of civilization and the associated intensificationof more dangerous and newer threats have required the creation of task forces in the State Fire Service.The study also presents the division into basic and specialized rescue operations. An analysis of thefunctioning of specialized rescue groups was carried out within separate rescue fields and conclusionswere drawn on this basis. The following main research problem was formulated: How does the developmentof hazards affect the evaluation of specialized operations carried out by the State Fire Service?Considering the research problem, the following hypothesis was adopted: The State Fire Service,through its specialized activities and the increase in the number of specialized groups, is increasing the effectivenessof emergency response at the national and international levels. An analysis of the functioning ofspecialized rescue groups was carried out within separate rescue fields and conclusions were drawn on thisbasis. To solve the main research problem, the following specific problems were formulated: What are thefields of rescue? What kind of specialist activities does the State Fire Service carry out? and What type ofactivities does the State Fire Service carry out abroad? The verification of the above hypothesis and the obtainingof answers to research problems required the use of qualitative methods. For this purpose, the basiclegal documents that operate within its framework were analyzed. Additionally, statistical data characterizingthe types and number of events undertaken by fire brigade rescue entities were compared. The previousknowledge of the authors in this area was also taken into account.
