Summary/Abstract: States have always participated in negative cooperation, both of a military and non-militarycharakter. It has been and is supported by information operations conducted within the framework ofthe ongoing global information conflict. Its participants engage in information aggression for variousreasons. This aggression is present in the personal and technical information space, which allows, withongoing scientific, technical, and technological progress, to adapt ICT, communication, and cyberspacetechniques for this type of activity. Information aggression is directed at man and the fight for his soulwhile pursuing particular interests through the activity of participating entities. The changing environmentof states is accompanied by intensified information operations, where there are elements specificto information aggression. Access to information in almost real time, as well as bombarding societieswith huge amounts of information with no time to verify it, facilitates information aggression. Oneshould be aware that the phenomena, events and processes occurring in the global security space willcontinue to be assessed by state and non-state entities, each of which will strive to take a significantposition in the process of shaping the international security environment in the 21st century. It is notonly about the present, but also about the future, where information aggression will mark an increasingpresence in the global information space.
