Summary/Abstract: Râmnicu Sărat was one of the most horrible communist prisons in Romania under the Stalinist regime, the detention system was extremely harsh for political prisoners. This is a table of the persons who passed through the Râmnicu Sărat Penitentiary in 1948-1952; the names were found in the archives, kept as internees ofthe General Authority of the People’s Security (Securitate).
