Summary/Abstract: Some key issues of the cold war marked the Romanian-Israelite relations. These issues had been perpetuated since the foundation of the State of Israel until the Israeli-Egyptian conflict, the October 1956 Sinai crisis, and on until the six-day war. Bilateral relations were affected by the two states being in opposite zones (Romania in the Soviet sphere, and Israel in the American one) and by the difference between the two types of social regimes.
