Summary/Abstract: The relations between the Communist Party of Romania and the Kremlin were reestablished after August 1944 as an initiative of Romanian Communists. In his September 1944 meeting with A.I. Vâșinski, Lucrețiu Pătrășcanu has made the first attempt to do this but he was rejected. Moscow fully distrusted the Romanian Communists and the Soviets decided taking control over the construction of the power structures.
