Summary/Abstract: The aim of this study is to determine whether there are differences according to the demographic characteristics of university students for sustainable development awareness. The survey technique, which is one of the quantitative data collection methods, was used within the scope of the study. Prepared survey forms are uploaded to Google Forms digital platform in digital and virtual environments; It was delivered to university students via WhatsApp and online forms on the basis of voluntary participation. The sample of the study consisted of university students who were reached by the convenience sampling method through social media and internet applications and those accepted to participate in the survey of the study. Kruskal Wallis and Whitney U tests were applied to the data obtained from the remaining 599 students after removing the incorrect and incomplete questionnaire forms from the data collected by voluntary participation in the survey prepared in line with the purpose of the research. As a result of the tests, the main hypothesis that “students’ awareness of sustainable development differs statistically according to their demographic characteristics” was accepted within the framework of social, economic and environmental factors.
