Summary/Abstract: In this paper, I outline the perspectives of exploring Linguistic Landscapes (LL) and Semiotic Landscapes (SL) in Bulgaria. I focus on mountainous regions, which have rarely been the subject of linguistic studies. After a brief overview of the core research topics of LL and SL, I present seven approaches to the empirical study of linguistic territorial structures in the mountains of Bulgaria.
