Summary/Abstract: The academic interest in right-wing populism and conspiracy theories has significantly grown in the past years. Hungarian political changes in the past decade have also gained attention, while common features of populism and conspiracy theories are rather neglected. This paper analyses a slice of Hungarian political discourse in order to shed light on populist and conspiratorial rhetoric, especially on the construction of national authenticity.
