Summary/Abstract: Resettlement is a life-changing experience for refugees. It is both a challenge and a source of satisfaction. Refugees are often resettled in a country where the society, language and culture are completely different from those of the country of origin. The efficiency of their reception and integration is beneficial both for the resettled refugees and for the country that resettles them. Governments and non-governmental organizations provide services to facilitate their integration, such as cultural orientation, language and professional training, but also programs to promote access to education and employment.
