Blaga and the Poets' circle

Summary/Abstract: This article gives glimpse over the Romanian literary world of the 40-ies with the enthusiastic young poets who aimed to give Romanian literature a European diminution and gathered around the great Romanian intellectuals such as Lucian Blaga and Eugen Lovinescu. The philosopher and writer Lucian Blaga who at that time run the"Saeculum" in Cluj allowed the circle poets to publish in his magazine even though there were some animosities from both sides.
