Summary/Abstract: In recent years there has been a growing interest in how the good life can be defined and realized. Among the emerging alternatives, there are such propositions as slow life, the search for resonance, or a return to communities. Drawing on interpretive sociology, the article focuses on how the young participants of the nationalist movement in Poland speak about the good life. Based on the analysis of biographical-narrative interviews, the text focuses on the following questions: (a) which categories constitute the core of the respondents’ visions of the good life, (b) to what extent are these visions realized in their own biographies, and (c) what is the role of communities (e.g., the nationalist movement) in defining and practicing the good life? In order to draw a broader picture, the perspective of the young movement participants’ is juxtaposed to data on other young adults.
