Summary/Abstract: In this paper we present the main features of the content, both of the European Written Book (Libro Escrito Europeo) and of the Indigenous Book (Libro Indígena), of the first festival included in the context of the xiuhpohualli of the Codex Tudela. In these pages we carefully analyze, on the one hand, each of the elements that the author of the glosses describes and, on the other hand, what the tlacuilo collects, in order to try to clarify what this little-studied source can contribute in the light of other documents and by itself. In this way, the present work intends to focus on the great amount of information that has been forgotten in the pages of this document, due to its difficult access and the little attention that traditional historiography has paid to it. For this reason, this constitutes the first detailed analysis that incorporates into historiography the information that the scribe provides in relation to the xiuhpohualli, and highlights all that remains to be discovered in the folios of this manuscript. The following pages are limited exclusively to the first festival because of the enormous amount of information it contains, proof once again of the importance of the Codex Tudela as a historical source.
