Summary/Abstract: The article discusses issues related to the use of appropriate time limits in the course of the public procurement award procedure. Particular attention was paid to the doubts that arise in the context of time limits in the course of appeal proceedings before the National Appeals Chamber. It has been demonstrated that the legislature, despite numerous changes in the content of the Public Procurement Law, has not decided to unequivocally solve the diagnosed problem. The article presents deliberations related to the search for the optimal selection of provisions that should be used in the discussed procedure, in particular with regard to the time limits that should be binding on the parties in proceedings before the National Appeals Chamber. The author proposed then the use of time limits set out in the Administrative Procedure Code, demonstrating the correctness of the thesis put forward. The article is of a scientific and research nature.
