Summary/Abstract: At the beginning of the semester, in the Writing Exercises II seminar, we were presented with a project on the main topic of historical images, where a cultural and language exchange with students from Austria was also planned. This is where the first question came up: what is meant by images of history. When we dealt with it and clarified the term, the second question came up, what kind of topic should we choose. At first we wanted to take a topic related to the role of women during that time because it was linked to feminism, but that was already unavailable and so we thought about what else would have been interesting for us and that's how it came about the history lesson in school. We chose the topic because we would also like to work in schools. Therefore, everything related to school teaching is useful, because you can find something new for teaching through research and then put it into practice. In addition, we were able to get a new overview from the point of view of the Austrian students and thus also gain new knowledge.
