Summary/Abstract: Layered teaching is a teaching method that aims to make the learning of a subject step by step. This method is often used in disciplines such as mathematics and science, but can be adapted to other subjects as well. Layered instruction helps students learn by breaking down a complex topic into small, understandable steps. These steps include the skills needed to achieve a predetermined learning goal in order to increase the student's conceptual understanding. This method allows students to take the subject step by step and reinforce what they have learned at each step, rather than helping them grasp the whole subject at once. Teachers can use this method by identifying learning goals and steps based on students' needs. In this study, it is aimed to examine the current situation regarding the researches on layered education with meta-synthesis method based on the postgraduate theses made up to now. By determining the inclusion and exclusion criteria, 20 graduate theses in the National Thesis Center database of the Council of Higher Education were included in the research. In the study, the findings were examined in detail through metasynthesis, and different and similar aspects were determined and evaluated.
