Summary/Abstract: Communication is the process of constantly experiencing the existence of human beings in the universe. The human being who interacts by communicating with his fellows gains an individual identity, becomes socialized and evolves into a social being. Communication is also the human need for self-actualization, belonging, security, esteem and fulfilling physiological needs. Human, whom Aristotle defines as "social being" with the phrase "Zoon Politikon" (political animal), has value only in society, as an extension of it; It is meaningless in nature alone. Living in the Age of Enlightenment with the positive mind symbolized by Descartes' "I Think Therefore I Am" (Cogito Ergo Sum) motto, the human being, who lived in the Age of Enlightenment, increased his dominance over nature and made his hegemony superior to mechanization and technological advances. In this study, the problem of “information security” that emerged with the globalization of communication will be discussed in the context of freedom of the press. The writing plan will proceed in the general definition of keywords, analysis of the problematics of the article, findings and conclusions. In the study, literature review was made as a data collection technique and content analysis method was applied.
