Summary/Abstract: Globalization is one of the important social events of the 20th century. The phenomenon of globalization is used to make sense of the economic, cultural, political and social changes and transformations experienced around the world. These changes and transformations that have occurred with the globalization process have led to serious consequences. Thanks to globalization, values such as goods, capital, knowledge and culture in the world have started to act without borders. Globalization has transformed the existing social structures and institutions within the framework of its own specific conditions. The phenomenon of globalization makes its presence felt most in the political, economic and cultural fields. Like all factors, states and public administration systems were also affected by this process. The nation-state is at the forefront of the social institutions that globalization forces change and transformation. The nation state has led to the decline of control practices over time and space. In this study, it is discussed to what extent the globalization has influenced or will influence the sovereignty of the nation states and how the future of nation states will be.
