Summary/Abstract: The following text discusses the vicissitudes of Lutek Rozenbaum’s life, known after World War II as Ludwik Sobolewski. He was the founder of the strong and recognisable not only in Poland football club Widzew Łódź. However, the life of this talented sports activist is overshadowed by seven years of service in the security apparatus or, to be more precise, in the Military Information of the Internal Security Corps. There are two other unknown chapters in his biography – his life in and escape from the Warsaw Ghetto and his membership in a partisan unit of the Home Army (Polish: Armia Krajowa, AK).
