Summary/Abstract: The development of virtual reality (VR) technology means that there is an increasing number of applications on the market dedicated to conducting education for various professional groups. The degree of mapping the actual working conditions, including the quality of graphics, the number of interactions with the environment, or the possibility of simultaneous training for entire teams of professionals, create new challenges for the designers of VR applications. The work is an attempt to answer the question whether, in the face of growing requirements for computing power, the use of High Performance Computing (HPC) computer clusters can be used in the creation or implementation of training in VR technology. The most frequently used VR systems and the production processes of VR applications were analyzed, and based on the available literature and the authors' own experience, areas where HPC clusters are the optimal solution were identified.
