Summary/Abstract: The report offers a critical analysis of the knowledge of the music of the Orthodox world as a part of the curriculum, developed in the music textbooks of four publishing houses – “Prosveta”, “Anubis”, “Bulvest” and “Izkustva”. The object of analysis is the substance of the relevant educational content. Based on the drawn conclusions, suggestions are made for the overcoming of the observed problems.
