Summary/Abstract: Europe is approaching almost 80 years of peace and prosperity, where, even if unfortunate events have occurred, such as the financial crisis of 2008 or the migrant crisis of 2015, democracy and its values have always emerged victorious, managing to increase the quality of life of the citizens and to ensure a harmonious development of society from a cultural, social, psychological, medical, technological point of view, and so on. But now, after such a rapid progress, perhaps frighteningly rapid for some, parts of Europe have seen the emergence of a ghost which was too much ignored in the collective memory of Romanian society: the far right. The problem of the magnitude that we see in the polls related to far right parties is current in almost every country of the European Union, even in countries with strong economic development and an accessible educational system, such as Germany and France, but also in less developed countries, like Romania. Legionnaire-type speeches are becoming more and more visible, only hidden under other forms, so it is important to consider the true face of the extreme right, even if it is hidden in a speech that at first glance seems moderate.
