Summary/Abstract: Bibi is non-canonised Romani saint, who occupies a significant part in the tradicional culture of some Romani Orthodox communities in Serbia. Based on various available sources – ethnographic literature, newspaper articles published in daily newspapers in Serbia, recent field research and videos posted on the YouTube platform, this paper points out the importance of the Bibi’s cult for Romani traditional culture. The given sources are considered in the spatial and temporal context. The application of such an analysis enables pointing out the classical elements of the Bibi’s cult, possible interpretations of different segments of the ritual and its transformation and variation of the narratives about Bibi.
