Summary/Abstract: Review of the publication Černá, Eliška: Z ulice do bytu: sociální práce v procesu reintegrace do bydlení. Praha: Slon, 2019, 151 pages, ISBN 978-80-7419-282-1 (From the Street to a Flat − social work in the housing reintegration process) The review considers a book entitled „From the Street to a Flat" based on the reintegration of the homeless field of social work. The first half of the book outlines the process and the procedures applied in the author's qualitative research, which formed the core of her dissertation. The second part of the book consists for the most part of a practical comparison of two different approaches to the reintegration of homeless persons. The first approach is termed „Housing ready“ and the second „Housing first“. The conclusions of the analysis implicitly favour the „Housing first“ model. While the review considers the first part of the book as a not particularly readable description of the author's application of various methods, the second part of the book is seen as a useful contribution to the field of social work with homeless people.
