Summary/Abstract: Inclusion and sport are two separate phenomena whose fusion through institutions such as sports organizations enables all disabled people to participate in sports activities, regardless of the degree of disability. This study is based on a theoretical analysis of the application of inclusion in sport. All the data were collected from the previous studies published in journals of sport and social sciences, books of proceedings of international scientific meetings, and also the personal experience of the author of this paper. The application of the basic principles of educational and social inclusion in sport creates a positive environment for the progress of disabled children and children with developmental disabilities, and it fosters a positive social attitude towards these individuals.
