Summary/Abstract: Investing in human capital is the engine of change in all areas. It is also decisive for the development of the social environment. The quality of the human material in a society is decisive for the macro- and microeconomic characteristics of the economy. When a business invests in physical capital, it always expects that over time it will lead to an increase in net profit. To provide an increase from the expenses incurred - this is the universal logic and the deep essence of the capital structure. Just such a basic dependence is also inherent in human capital, insofar as it also fits into the general logic of capital. Only by comparing the cost-income characteristics of the linked processes can capital be indicated as such. Human capital is a special form of capital that is associated with investments in knowledge, qualification and production experience, with the development of skills and other acquired properties, which increase the possibilities of work and enrich the personality - the bearer of the work function. It is an extension of something that previously had its status and being, which is human resources. It is the changes in them and their properties as a result of a purposeful process that we associate with investments in human capital.
