Summary/Abstract: The library of the Museum of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn has a rich collection of old prints. Among them, volumes once belonging to the Königsberg preacher Johann Graumann (1487–1541), known under the pseudonym Poliander, have been identified. There are 28 volumes with 157 bound titles. The theologian’s private library numbered nearly 1,000 copies. After his death, it was handed over to the care of the Königsberg City Council. In accordance with his will, the volumes initiated the Königsberg City Library (Stadtbibliothek Königsberg). After the end of the Second World War, the Königsberg book collection was dispersed. As a result of a campaign to secure cultural property in the former East Prussian territories, several dozen volumes of Königsberg provenance found their way to the MWiM Library in Olsztyn. The rest of J. Graumann’s book collection was transported, among others, to the University Library of the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń.
