Financial condition of domestic and foreign-owned companies in Poland in 2011.

Summary/Abstract: The article analyses the financial performance of the companies with foreign capital in Poland versus the results of the firms which are wholly owned by Polish entrepreneurs. In 2011 the latter achieved better financial results, which reversed the 2006–2010 trend. The author looks at the reasons for this increase in profitability of Polish-owned companies.
