Summary/Abstract: The present study is an attempt to apply Bachman & Palmer’s (2010) Assessment Use Argument (AUA) to assess the validity of a questionnaire on Tunisians’ perceptions regarding language policies and the promotion of the status of English in higher education. The validation process focuses on the consequences of the results of the questionnaire, the interpretations of the content of the questionnaire and the internal consistency of questionnaire items.
