Coronavirus and related Czech government macroeconomic measures

Summary/Abstract: The article provides a summary and evaluation of the aims of the main macroeconomic measures introduced by the government of the Czech Republic in response to the coronavirus epidemic. The mixed nature of the various measures indicates the lack of a clear national economic policy approach with concern particularly to the unprecedented weakening of the revenue side of the national budget.
