Summary/Abstract: The present study examines the main characteristics of cultural and cultural-cognitive tourism. Their main characteristics of world organizations, such as the WTO and UNESCO and the zoning through the LOCUS system, are outlined. The study identifies the tourist resources of cultural and cultural-cognitive tourism on the Danube coast within the eponymous tourist region.
