Summary/Abstract: The current needs of the Bulgarian society and business push to the fore the problem of the factors influencing the development of entrepreneurial activity. The development focuses on groups of social and cultural factors that have traditionally been downplayed by researchers. The leading idea is that the knowledge of the active forces of the environment and their interdependence is a key prerequisite for success in competitive conditions.
