Summary/Abstract: This article presents a critical assessment of theapplication of the Youth Guarantee programme, orientedtoward young people under the age of 30, in Spain from2013 to 2018. It analyses the effectiveness of programmeenrolment and coverage of young people classified as“NEETs” (not in employment, education or training), theadaptation of the catalogue of proposed measures toyoung people’s reality, and whether or not these measureshave addressed different intersections, such as gender, social class and origin, as indispensable elements forintegration into society that make it possible to shapeyoung people’s experiences. Finally, through the 2017Continuous Sample of Working Lives, which provides arepresentative extract of anonymised individual datathrough the non-parametric bootstrap samplingtechnique, this article will analyse the level of youthemployment precarity by gender, educational attainment, and province.
