Summary/Abstract: The optimization of posts is an essential activity for the proper and efficient functioning of any business organization. It is applied to develop, regulate and legally implement such positions, which enable the optimal use of the potential of the human resources. The selection, appointment and dismissal of the human resources is reduced to the optimization of the methodology for attracting and appointing suitable for the post human resources, as well as examination of the conditions for termination of employment relationships in the companies. To achieve economic viability and development of the organizations, it is particularly important to create a special program for the development of the human resources. Its main aim is to develop the potential of the employees by supporting professional orientation, enhancing the level of job performance, supporting learning and professional training and career advancement. The purpose of this article is to review key activities related to the optimization of the size, structure and level of the job performance of the human resources in the companies.
