Summary/Abstract: The quality has an interdisciplinary character. The time has passed, when was examin only the quality of goods, services and processes. Today in studys is becoming more relevant tendency to cover the quality of life in general in all areas of human existence. As a socio-economic category, quality of life characterize the satisfaction of basic human needs: physical, spiritual and social in a society. In the paper is analyzed the quality of life in the region of Vidin and are outlined prospects for an improvement.
