Summary/Abstract: The Research Institute for Labour and Social Affairs (RILSA/ VÚPSV) has been involved in the monitoring of the third country nationals integration process in the Czech Republic. Projects on this issue are commissioned and supported by the Ministry of the Interior which is responsible for the issue of the integration of foreign nationals. The European Fund for the Integration of Third Country Nationals (EIF) plays an important role in this respect in terms of financing. The first call for the disbursement of funds for the development of indicators and methodologies for the evaluation of integration processes and the adjustment of relevant policies and measures was announced as early as in 2008. A year later the VÚPSV developed a methodology for systematically monitoring key integration indicators which resulted in the "system of quantitative indicators for the monitoring of the integration of third country nationals (CTZ)" containing basic, analytical and comparative indicators. This system is updated every six months and provides an overview in time series of five or more years.
