Summary/Abstract: Social Network Sites (SNS) create an interactive virtual space where users can present themselves and communicate with each other with practically no technical or software skills. They become an integral part of the everyday life of millions of young people all over the world. SNS like Facebook allow users of all ages to create multifaceted profiles, to reach large audiences and have numerous followers practically free (for personal users) and with not time consuming activities. The possibility for asynchronous and long distance communication presents new challenges for the establishment and maintenance of interpersonal online relations and conflict management. The article explores student’s perception of the communication within Facebook student groups.
